The University of Illinois at Chicago
The Chicago Technology Park selected the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) as its academic training partner.

UIC, host of the first Bioinformatics Masters and Ph.D. program accredited by the Illinois Board of Higher Education, develops and administers BiTmaP curriculum and training.

Students who complete the program receive 12 graduate-level credit hours and a certificate of bioinformatics from UIC. These 12 credit hours may be applied toward a Masters degree in bioinformatics.
